Inclusivity and Anti Racist Statement

As a white, cisgendered Woman, I recognize my privilege.

I know the disparities that exist in the birth world between Black/Brown birthing bodies and White ones.

I want to be part of the solution, by ensuring that support is available to all.

At Amber Dawn Holistic Wellness, I am committed to unlearning, learning and growing to be a better ally to all folks.

I feel it is essential to share my action plan for now and the future.

In all of my course materials, every attempt has been made to ensure that inclusive language is used (respecting all families and birthing bodies).

I am working to break down barriers to safe, loving and supportive care.

I am committing to paying BIPOC for their wisdom, supporting BIPOC and their birth businesses and donating to causes that support them!

I am committing to removing the burden of my education from BIPOC.

I will read books, listen to podcasts, take workshops and be responsible for my own learning and growth.

I am committing to sharing the resources that I am using to do this work so that others can as well.

As my business grows, my hiring practices will be inclusive and focus on diversity.
